Foodtruck catering

Everyone knows how it goes: invitations out, salads the night before, and then half the afternoon of your own party spent between the fridge and the coals. What you remember afterwards is mostly the topping up.

With the foodtruck that part disappears. We arrive at the agreed time, park in the drive or on the grass, and cook on the spot. Afterwards the kitchen is as clean as it was before.

It works for a fiftieth just as well as for a confirmation or a family gathering where three generations need feeding in one afternoon.

What matters at a private party

You get to join in

Nobody in the family stands at a grill, nobody misses the speech, and no pile of washing up is waiting at the end of the evening. That is the real difference from doing it yourself.

At your place

Driveway, yard or lawn. The truck comes to where you are celebrating anyway, so there is no hall to hire.

Children eat too

Family parties rarely have only adults at the table. Burgers are something children eat without an argument, and they can watch theirs being made.

The neighbours

For a party in the driveway it helps to have mentioned it to the neighbours beforehand. It saves questions on the afternoon you actually wanted to spend celebrating.

Das Motto des Abends: Amerika der 90er Jahre – und was könnte dazu besser passen als frisch zubereitete Smash Burger direkt aus unserem Foodtruck? 🍔🇺🇸 Passend zur Atmosphäre haben wir die Gäste mit unseren Burgern und knusprigen Pommes versorgt – frisch vor Ort zubereitet und direkt aus dem Truck serviert. Geburtstagsfeier in Thüngfeld mit rund 80 Gästen 🎉🍔 Für diesen besonderen Abend war Marty’s Foodtruck direkt vor Ort. Auf dem Menü standen unsere Smash Burger, frisch vom Grill, dazu knusprige Pommes. Rund 80 Gäste wurden über den Abend hinweg direkt aus dem Foodtruck versorgt – unkompliziert, frisch und passend zu einer entspannten Geburtstagsfeier. Schön, dass wir Teil dieses Abends sein durften!

Is it worth it for a smaller party?

That depends on the setting and takes about two sentences on the phone. Tell us how many guests you expect and we will give you an honest answer.

Where does the truck stand?

Usually in the driveway, the yard, or a firm surface beside it. What we need in terms of space and connections is further down this page.

Is there something for the children?

Burgers go down well with children and portions can be adjusted. Let us know beforehand how many children are coming.

What if the weather turns?

We cook inside the truck, so rain is not a problem there. What matters is that your guests can stand or eat dry, so a gazebo, a garage, or the way indoors.

How far ahead should we enquire?

As soon as the date is fixed. Summer weekends in particular go quickly, and an early enquiry costs you nothing.

What we need at your venue

We only need three things to cook at your event — but they're worth checking with your venue early.

Flat pitch

A flat, easily accessible area we can drive the truck onto.

Space required

The food truck measures roughly 6 m × 2 m × 3 m (L × W × H).

Three-phase power

A 16A or 32A three-phase power connection (Starkstrom).

Unfortunately, without the required power connection we are not able to provide the catering service. If you're unsure, ask your venue — we're happy to help you sort it out in advance.
